Nerdicate.com encourages thoughtful, curiosity‑driven discussion. To keep the conversation civil, informative and welcoming, we ask every commenter to follow the rules below. By posting a comment, you agree to this Comment Policy as well as to our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
1. Be Respectful
- Treat other readers the way you would like to be treated.
- No harassment, hate speech, bullying, personal attacks or threats.
- Debate ideas, not people.
2. Stay On‑Topic
Comments should relate directly to the article or the ongoing thread. Off‑topic promotion of your own site, product or channel is not allowed.
3. No Spam or Self‑Promotion
- Links are allowed only when they add real value to the discussion.
- Commercial messages, affiliate links, „get‑rich‑quick” schemes, SEO solicitations, coupon codes, etc. will be deleted.
- Repeated violations may result in a permanent ban.
4. Quality & Clarity
- Avoid excessive profanity, all‑caps shouting, or unintelligible text.
- Quote sources when stating facts or figures.
- Do not post personal data (yours or others’).
5. Copyright & Legal
You may post only material you have the right to share. By submitting a comment, you grant Nerdicate a royalty‑free, perpetual, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, edit (for formatting or profanity removal only) and archive your contribution.
6. Moderation Rules
- First‑time commenters are held in the moderation queue.
- Comments containing more than 2 links, banned keywords (see spam filter) or suspicious code are automatically flagged.
- We reserve the right to edit or remove any comment at our sole discretion, especially if it violates these guidelines or applicable law.
- Moderators’ decisions are final.
7. Data & Privacy Notice
When you leave a comment we collect your name/pseudonym, e‑mail address, IP address and optionally a cookie that remembers your details for next time. See our Privacy Policy for full details and your rights under the GDPR.
8. Reporting Problems
If you believe a comment is abusive or infringes copyright, please email danny@nerdicate.com with a direct link and a short explanation. We aim to review reports within 24 hours.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Comment Policy from time to time. Major changes will be announced in a site notice; continued commenting after an update constitutes acceptance of the new rules.
